Mike Reed, in collaboration with the Jazz Institute of Chicago, presents a series of free jazz/improvised performances in several of Chicago's premier venues leading up the the Chicago Jazz Festival in Millenium Park over Labor Day weekend. 

The first edition of the Dog/Days features local acts Black Diamond, Josh Berman, and Devouring the Guilt, followed by internationally renowned improvisors James Brandon Lewis (saxophone), and Craig Taborn (piano)
