L.A. based violinist/composer/arranger Miguel Atwood-Ferguson is resurrecting his large scale J-Dilla tribute project for a special one time performance on Chicago’s grandest outdoor stage.

Known as being the most influential hip-hop producer and beat maker of all time, Detroit legend J-Dilla created tracks for genre defining and defying artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Erykah Bad, Common, Slum Village, De La Soul, Madlib, MF Doom, and many more. After passing on from a rare blood disease in 2006, artists and musicians have remained loyal and continued to pay homage to his legacy.
