Reuniting with two of my favorite musicians in New Orleans: Trombonist Jeff Albert (The Meters) and drummer Mikel Patrick Avery (Theaster Gates’ Black Monks of Mississippi, Joshua Abrams’ Natural Information Society). Both of these musicians have strong ties to Chicago and are people whom I am regularly inspired and motivated by.
