Curated by Chicago drummer Julian Kirshner, the Dimensions & Extensions series pairs nine improvisers in impromptu groupings. Each musician will perform in 2 sets, without prior knowledge of how they will be grouped.

Groupings will be assigned by choosing numbers from a hat at the start of the set. No preconceived discussions will be allowed, just natural improvising on the spot with the idea that each grouping will last anywhere from 2-20 minutes.
