Led by Romanian vocalist Ana Everling, Taraf de Chicago presents a a unity of Romanian doine, popular ballads and songs of bravery, with tales, riddles, proverbs and sayings, predominantly from Moldova, Bassarabia area. Coming from the world of village communities, these musical pieces preserve some of the oldest Romanian poetic achievements.
